- Educational usefulness. Every article is written to teach a transferable skill.
- Factual accuracy. Claims about lexicons, tournament rules, and linguistics are checked against primary sources.
- Inclusivity. We use accessible language and avoid harmful stereotypes.
- Continuous improvement. Material is updated as dictionaries, rules, or research evolve.
Authorship
Long-form articles are written and reviewed by the site's editor, Keiron Brown, drawing on published reference works for the relevant domain — competitive Scrabble, crossword construction or solving, linguistics, language pedagogy, or vocabulary research.
Review process
Articles are checked against published reference sources and re-read for accuracy and clarity before publication. WordRushTools is a single-editor publication — there is no separate review desk.
Updates
We update articles when underlying facts change (for example, tournament rules or official lexicons). See our Corrections Policy to report issues.
